Founded as Yueqing Chifeng Fuse Factory in Liushi, Wenzhou-the hub of China's electrical manufacturing industry-specializing in low-voltage fuse production.
1990s
Built core technical expertise in fuse design and manufacturing, establishing a strong market presence across China with low-voltage AC protection solutions.
2006
Reorganized as Wenzhou Chifeng Electric Co., Ltd., transitioning from a family-run workshop to a structured corporate entity with modern governance.
2014
Achieved ISO 9001 certification and launched DC fuses for photovoltaic systems, securing TÜV Rheinland certification to IEC 60269-6. Initiated international expansion into Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia.
2016
Rebranded as Zhejiang Chifeng Electric Co., Ltd. Became a governing council member of the China New Energy Electric Union. Pioneered 1,500V DC PV fuses, earning TÜV certification ahead of industry adoption curves.
2017
Strategic capacity expansion: acquired industrial land in Yueqing Economic Development Zone for a next-generation production facility.
2018
Recognized as a Zhejiang Provincial Technology Enterprise. Established a dedicated R&D center, with annual innovation investments exceeding 5% of revenue.
2019
Secured UL certification for PV DC fuses, enabling full market access across North America.
2021
Commenced construction of a modern manufacturing base on newly acquired land in the economic development zone. Released 250kA DC fuses for energy storage systems, achieving TÜV certification.
2022
Achieved National High-Tech Enterprise status. Diversified applications into EV charging infrastructure and energy storage, beyond core PV inverters. Grew workforce to 100+ employees, with 30% in engineering and technical roles.

Designated as an Innovative SME by provincial authorities.

Completed relocation to a state-of-the-art 16,000 m² intelligent manufacturing facility, featuring automated production lines and comprehensive quality control systems-positioning Chifeng for the next decade of clean energy growth.

Accelerated innovation pipeline with expanded R&D investment, launching new high-voltage fuse and fuse-switch disconnector product lines to address evolving grid infrastructure and industrial power protection needs.
